Niji Forest (二ジの森 Niji no Mori?) is the 10th chapter of Karneval by Touya Mikanagi.
Short Summary[]
Gareki, Nai, and Yogi, along with Akari and a team of investigators from the Research Tower go to Niji forest in search of more information on Karoku. During their exploration, Nai guides them to Karoku’s house, which is now burnt down, leaving nothing but ashes. Since there was nothing there, he reveals another place where he had stayed with Karoku in Niji Forest, a cave. As they approach the cave, a varuga ambushes them. Yogi attacks the varuga in order to protect the group. However during the fight, the varuga captures Gareki.
